AD Copy User
Activity Description
Copies an Active Directory user account and sets its properties.
Output
Success (account copied) /Failure.
Settings
- Account Name – The name of the user account you want to copy (e.g.,
jsmith
). - Host Name – The hostname or IP address of the Active Directory server.
- User Name – If required, the user name of an account that has read-write access to the Active Directory.
- Password – If required, the password of the account listed in the User Name field.
- Port – The port through which we connect to Active Directory. Port 389 is the default unsecured port. Port 636 is the pre-defined secured port. You may enter any other accessible port here.
- First Name – The new user's first name (e.g.,
Michael
). - Initials – The first and last names’ initials.
- Last Name – The new user's last name (e.g.,
Parker
). - Full Name – The new user's full name (e.g.,
Michael Parker
). - Login Name – The new user's selected login name (e.g.,
mparker
). - Login Password – The new user's selected login password.
- Email – The new user's email address.
- User must change password at next login – Determines whether or not to require the user to change the password upon login.
- Password never expires – Determines whether the user's password ever expires.
- Additional Properties – Any additional Active Directory property you may wish to apply to the user.
